Internship (part time) at Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Programme at ARC Fund
For the Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP) Programme of the Applied Research and Communications Fund (ARC Fund), we are looking for an intern for a period of between 3 to 6 months, (20 hours per week, flexible). Candidates should have an interest in one or more of the following fields: communications (with a focus on social media), journalism, innovation management, public policy, science and technology studies, and environmental studies.
The intern will work on an EU-funded project aiming to promote energy efficiency through a designated online platform and will contribute to the upscaling of the platform to consumers in Bulgaria through various channels, including social media, mass media, direct communication. The intern is expected to contribute to building a nation-wide community of consumers interested in the topic, co-develop a communication strategy for reaching out to different target groups and suggest creative solutions for promoting the platform among the public at large. She/he might be asked to provide assistance to other projects as well, if the need arises.
• Undergraduate or graduate student in the fields of communications, journalism, innovation management, business, public policy, environmental studies or a related discipline.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a focus on the needs and capacities of the audience.
• Proficiency in the key Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capacity/willingness to learn how to use different graphic design tools.
• Proficiency in English.
• Readiness to work in a multi-lingual environment on multiple tasks.
• Experience with social media in a professional context will be considered an advantage.
What we offer
The internship will provide an opportunity for young students and graduates to work on an exciting project, aiming to promote awareness about energy efficiency throughout Europe. The intern can work remotely or in the premises of ARC Fund in Sofia, 5 Alexander Zhendov St.
No credit hours can be given, but a certificate of accomplishment will be awarded upon successful completion of the internship. Please note that selection for this internship does not constitute a job offer. However, if an open position is available at the end of the internship, and the intern’s performance has been positively evaluated, the intern would be considered as a priority candidate, if interested.
