Angel Milev is Program Director of ARC Fund responsible for the general coordination of projects and development of activities in the field of innovation and technology transfer. He joined ARC Fund’s team in 2000 and has participated in, and coordinated a wide range of projects funded by the European Commission, the World Bank, Bulgarian government agencies, etc. Since October 2002 he has coordinated the IRC - Bulgaria project, which is supported by DG Enterprise of the European Commission. He has also worked on the "Development of a Regional Innovation Strategy for the South Central Region of Bulgaria" and was involved in the development of a Regional Innovation Strategy for the South West Region of Bulgaria. Since January 2007 Mr. Milev coordinates the newly established Enterprise Europe Network in Bulgaria. This new EC initiative offers entrepreneurs a one-stop-shop where they can seek advice and benefit from a wide range of easily accessible business support services all over Europe. Before joining ARC Fund he had been working in the machine building sector and was Technical Manager of a multinational company whose operation was based in Sofia. Angel is involved in provision of international consultancies to the ministries in the MENA countries ( Syria and Jordan) on establishment of business support and technology transfer centres. He has MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University – Sofia and MSc degree in International Economic Relations from the University for National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
