Emilia Zakova
Ms. Emilia Zakova holds an Engineer degree (in textile engineering) from the Technical University – Sofia. She has several years of professional experience in business support organizations. For a 2,5 years she worked for the Bulgarian Association of Textile and Clothing (BATEC) and has developed in-depth knowledge of the capacity and needs of Bulgarian industry. Through her studies and work Ms. Zakova has built extensive contacts in the business community at national and EU levels. Since 2006 she serves as project officer at ARC Fund, overseeing activities related to training and capacity-building on EU research programs. She has been lecturer in several seminars focused on FP7 and EU structural funds.
